BIO

Born and raised in Texas, Benji moved to Chicago to pursue a career as an artist. He received his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He has shown nationally along with adding his own touch to Chicago through city commissioned projects. His work examines a variety of themes in as many media. The everyday and temporary are two themes that thread themselves frequently throughout his work. Drawing inspiration from everyday life, Benji tries to show how the mundane can transcend to the sublime.
